what do you think happens here?
Have you ever paused to wonder
how a man ought to live
on this side of the divide?
Have you sat to ponder life
and your assignment in this place
where men come and go?
like wind through open fields
and no one stays to bargain with time?
Who orders the course of living?
What is life all about?
Is it only existence?
breathing in and out
chasing the noise of days
lost in the rush of night and morning?
No.
Life is more.
Life is more than toil
more than the heavy rhythm
of hustle and bustle
more than activities under the sun
that fade like dust in the wind
Life is what you will finally submit
at the end of all becoming
So tell me
are you making it clean?
Are you making it excellent?
Are you living in agreement
with what is written about you
on the other side of eternity?
Or are you only existing?
THE DELIVERER
What does it take
to be a deliverer?
ALL of oneself
nothing held back
no divided heart
no negotiation
with the flesh.
Yes
no atom of flesh
is involved.
A deliverer of the people
does not live like the people
does not walk their path
does not bow to what entices them.
What captivates them
does not captivate him.
That is the weight of calling.
A deliverer goes all the way
beyond comfort, beyond self
beyond the ease of ordinary living.
He pays every necessary price
in fact, he becomes the offering.
A ransom for the people
laid down willingly.
He cannot live like the people
for he was never called
to blend in
but to stand apart.
THE KING AND HIS KINGDOM
When you love a King
you love His kingdom.
For what is a king
without His kingdom?
A throne without authority
a crown without dominion
a name without expression.
A lover of a King
is a lover of His kingdom.
Do you understand?
Loving me makes no sense
if you do not love what I carry.
For I am not separated
from what I rule.
To embrace the King
is to embrace His reign
His order, His ways.
The love of the Kingdom
consumes me
it shapes my desire
it steadies my heart
it defines my gaze.
And if you love me truly
you will love the kingdom
I belong to.
